To strengthen
ties with African countries and their citizens, that are beneficial
to America and Africa
Background
The VCA is a
coalition of individuals and organizations who see the citizens
of Africa and their descendants throughout the diaspora as global
partners. Inspired by the year 2000 National Summit on Africa, the
VCA evolved from the Virginia Delegation to the Summit.
VCA is a non-profit
organization actively fostering bilateral support for Africa's continued
growth and development, and collaborating with individuals and organizations
having similar objectives.

Joining the
Coalition
The VCA welcomes
individuals and organizations whose objectives are consistent with
the VCA's, and whose activities are consistent with the VCA's corporate
charter.
Just as Africa
is a vast and complex continent, so must be the effort to establish
linkages to support the continent's growth. VCA members work individually
and collectively across geographical and organizational boundaries.
Joining the VCA is as easy as picking up the phone, writing a letter,
or completing the membership
application.
